Circa 1909 Victor Victrola Deluxe Model VV-XX with Records

Item Details

A Victrola model VV-XX, produced by the Victor Talking Machine Company circa the first half of 1909. A deluxe version of the VV-XVI, this floor model internal-horn phonograph features an ornate cabinet with carved and gilt foliate scroll decoration and a distinctive angular mahogany veneer pattern on the doors; the lower half of the cabinet includes built-in record storage, and the cabinet rests on four scroll feet. The underside of the lid has a color ‘Victor Victrola’ logo, and the dataplate is marked with the model and serial numbers ‘VTLA 8419’.
