An original folk art sculpture by renowned Cincinnati, Ohio artist Stephanie Cooper. This piece is titled ‘Departure,’and portrays the withdrawal of a soul from the world, a house with two candles burning inside and on the exterior flies a wild haired woman, suspended with a wire. A wonderful piece, comprised of painted, carved wood, paper mache, tule and a variety of other materials. The piece includes a hand made, iridescent black glazed ceramic stand, as well.
