Early 20th Century Southeast Asian Kulintang Brass Gongs
Item Details
A set of six early 20th century Southeast Asian kulintang gongs. Typically, the gongs are laid horizontally and have played a large role in several musical traditions of Southeast Asia. The walls of each gong are pierced with small holes to allow for a cord to suspend or otherwise mount the gongs, which some still retain.

- consistent with age; corrosion and markings throughout; one gong displays cracks in metal.
