Antique Chinese Wooden Abacus

Item Details

An antique Chinese wooden abacus. The abacus has fifteen bars with turned wooden beads, each bar having five lower beads and two upper beads. The frame is held together with a single dovetail at each corner.

Condition

- central bar is cracked near one end.
- back board has split.
- fishing line inserted through back, apparently for hanging.
- darkened overall
