Vintage Jefferson Golden Hour Electric Clock

Vintage Jefferson Golden Hour electric clock from Jefferson Electric Company, Bellwood, Illinois. The clock ring and base area cast zinc alloy, plated with 24 karat gold, with a brushed satin finish.

The dial frame ring has raised numerals at 3, 6, 9, and 12 o’clock as well as raised radial lines at the other hours. The “crystal” is single strength select grade glass and is 3/32’ thick. It is mounted in a steel, nickel plated ring gear. The eyelet (crystal retainer on the back of the clock) is steel, plated with 24 kt gold.

Condition

Body and face of clock are in good condition, though clock face needs cleaning. Hour hand is loose and needs to be fixed. This item is untested.
