An outstanding Giuseppe Cappé Italian music box figurine. The porcelain music box figurine has highly detailed and intricately hand-painted details. It depicts a smiling organ grinder, leaning against his cart, with his monkey on top. The cart is laden with wine bottles and other supplies is being pulled by a donkey, who is draped with the organ grinder’s coat. The sculpture is hand-signed and marked to the underside ‘Works of Art Italy 128/B – Giuseppe Cappé’. The base is marked with a logo that depicts the letter ‘N’ with a crown above.
