Item Details
A 1951 bronze commemorative medallion, celebrating the centennial of the Illinois Central railroad. The reverse features the mid and east section of the United States map, with topographical lines indicating their route and track; and further accented with a laurel wreath border. The obverse features a center diamond field with ‘Illinois Central’, and is bordered by ‘For 100 Years – Mainline of Mid America.’
