Late 19th Century Eastlake Platform Rocking Chair

A Victorian Eastlake platform rocking chair has a scalloped crown to the top rail, ears to the stiles, upholstered back, curved wood arms, curved over hands, ‘C’ style arm supports, upholstered cushioned seat, straight wood apron, metal springs attached to the sides and lower frame/stretchers, box stretchers, and metal casters with wood rollers. The chair’s green floral pattern upholstery was done by Rothman Upholstering Shop of Middletown, Ohio.

- minor scratches, wear present is consistent with age and use.
