A Marwal Ind Inc chalkware sculpture after a work by Auguste Moreau (1834 – 1917). The sculpture is in the Classical tradition and features a young lady holding a water jug. The piece is signed in mold and marked Marwal Indiana Incorporated. Marwal was a mid-century company that was known for making reproductions of famous statues/sculptures.
