An exceptional Queen Anne period chest on chest, circa 1730. This burl walnut two piece chest features a hidden drawer below the cornice, and two half and three full size graduated drawers with brass escutcheons and tear-drop brass pulls. The lower kneehole chest has one large drawer over a kneehole with a locking cabinet to the back, flanked by two drawers on each side, and sitting on later bracket feet.
