18th or 19th Century Oil Painting of Angels Appearing to Abraham

A biblical themed oil on canvas depiction of the three angels appearing to Abraham. A masterfully executed piece that is being attributed to late 18th, or possibly early 19th century. This piece is unsigned. Found in restoration expert, Dorothy Jackson’s studio, this was one of the last paintings she had prepped for restoration. You can see the chalk outline she graphed atop the canvas. Brighter areas in the paint also show where she started the painstaking process of removing a century, or more, of dirt from the paint. From the back you can see where she started to patch a hold in the canvas. The frame also appears to have been primed for restoration. This painting is being sold as a project piece and is very fragile.

Condition
-All around poor. Soiled, small holes, paint flecking out. Professional restoration is recommended. Damage is present throughout.
