1904 McClellan Cavalry Saddle

A 1904 McClellan cavalry saddle. This cavalry saddle is constructed of leather and features a ten inch seat with metalware for securing the saddle. The saddle is designed to have an opening in the saddle from the pommel and running the length of the seat. George B. McClellan designed this riding saddle in 1859 and the model continued through World War II.
