Rare Antique St. Bernard Ski Rescue Canteen

Item Details

A rare antique wooden canteen which would have been worn around the neck of a St. Bernard dog in efforts to revive skiers who were in trouble. The antique canteen retains seemingly the original wooden peg stopper and has metal straps at each side.

Condition

The metal strap on one side is loose.
