Fossilized Walrus Oosik with Carved Caps

Item Details

A fossilized Inuit oosik (walrus penis bone) with carved walrus bone ends. The larger cap is carved to show a polar bear face while the smaller end is a walrus. Oosiks are given to couples as a symbol of fertility, they were traditionally used as clubs.
