18 K Yellow Gold Giraffe Brooch

Item Details

An 18 K yellow gold giraffe brooch with a small diamond eye and black enamel spots. The brooch depicts a giraffe with a tall slender neck having the tell tale black markings. The pin is not marked other than a stamped bar at the back reading ‘Schwartz’ which is a jeweler in South Africa where the brooch was purchased. The pin was tested using three different methods by an independent certified gemologist and was found to be 18 K gold, weighing 18.0 dwt with an approximately .03 ct 812/G-H diamond at the eye.
