The representational painting illustrates a mountain lion in great detail, casually reclining in the upper left corner of the composition peering over the edge of a rocky outcropping. The painting is signed and dated 1995 in the lower left corner, professionally presented in a gold wooden frame.
Jeff Gandert was born with a passion for wildlife, he submerses himself in his paintings in order to portray the emotional spirit of the animal. He has exhibited worldwide receiving numerous awards and accolades, locally he was represented through Closson’s Art Gallery. Jeff Gandert resides in Southwestern Ohio.
