A The Genius of Leonardo Da Vinci collector chest with collectors medals. This set of 50 art medals is made by The Franklin Mint, and housed in a beautiful cabinet. The cabinet includes six drawers. Each medal is 24k gold electroplated on sterling silver. This set is a first edition proof set, number 519. Medals are size: 51mm, Total weight: 104.0 troy oz, Condition: Excellent, Certified March 7, 1975. This set includes a book with detailed information about each of the designs after some of Da Vinci’s most famous art. A book is included to discuss the significance of each work and its importance during Leonard Da Vinci’s career.
Condition
A few coins appear to have some tarnish or discoloration on the edges.
