An original watercolor painting titled A Fresh Start by Kay K. Worz. Worz painting style is described as ‘calligraphic’ with a specialty in wildlife and nature, painting in watercolor since 1992. This landscape scene of a rising sun on a cold winter morning is painted on rice paper. Worz is an accomplished artist who studied at Edgecliff College, with additional painting in Florence and Switzerland. She has served as the Head of the Art Department at John Carroll High School, a Federated Department Store Graphic Designer, a past President of the Cincinnati Art Club from 2008-2010 and member of the Greater Cincinnati Watercolor Society. This watercolor is mounted under glass with an ornate silver tone composite frame, with mottled brown and gray mats.
