A Don Quixote original restrike etching by Salvador Dali (Spanish 1904-1989). In 1966, as part of a series of five Spanish Portraits, Dali’s etching depicts Don Quixote in armor, mounted on a horse. This etching for the Collector’s Guild is part of a second edition, distinguished by Dali signing his name in the restrike plate on the lower right. Note, the small figure of Sancho Panza is in the background lower left. Printed in sepia ink on wove paper, this art is mounted under glass in a silver tone and black wood frame with an ivory mat. Art frame reverse indicates art is from the Collector’s Guild.
