Rare Made in Germany for Sears "Bear" Cuckoo-Quail Clock

A rare vintage cuckoo-quail clock, made in Germany for the Sears Co. The clock’s movement is operated by three pine cone weights on chains, the two windows at the top housing birds that sing and announce the time every 15 minutes. The Black Forrest carved clock depicts pine boughs and pine cones at the outer edge with a prominent bear head at the peak of the crown.

Condition

The clock is very good in appearance and was tested to be working. The clock will need to be adjusted most likely, the quail and cuckoo chimes do not coincide correctly with the time.
