An original watercolor by listed artist Jim Finnell (1954-1994) is titled ‘Caught in the Act.’ The watercolor depicts Locomotive and Tender #487 dumping her ashes at the Chama, New Mexico ash pit. It is signed and dated ‘J. Finnell ’83’ to the lower right. Included with the watercolor is information about the painting in a copy of a miniature Narrow Guage and Short Line Gazette dated January/February 1984.
