A beautiful Antonio Zoli reproduction 1863 Zouave .58 caliber percussion rifle imported by Navy Arms. This rifle was manufactured by Antonio Zoli & Co. Bresica, Italy. The barrel has stamped on the top ‘Antonio Zoil & Co. Made in Italy, 58 Caliber, Black Powder Only’ with the Serial #26190. Eagle and NAVYARMS Co. is stamped on trigger plate. Gun has two brass barrel bands with a shoulder strap harness attached to the top band, brass nose cap, brass trigger guard with second shoulder strap harness, brass butt plate & patch box. Made of walnut that is medium brown color with a varnish type finish. Includes bullet mold and powder flask.
Condition
Gun is untested. Is marked to take “Black Powder Only.” Has a few small nicks to wood and some tarnish to brass fittings.
