Howard-Miller Grandfather Clock

Item Details

An elegantly appointed Howard-Miller grandfather clock in a curio type glass and wood cabinet. (The clock is vintage, model no. 610-578 and serial no. 707-204-07.) The wood type is Windsor Cherry veneer over hardwood, with a swan neck bonnet top with center finial. The lower locking door and sides feature crystal cut glass, which is also on the escapement panels. In all, the clock has a total of six glass shelves for showcasing collectibles, three adjustable, which run across the entire width of the cabinet behind the pendulum. Interior lighting is provided as well as a glass mirrored back. With regard to the clock mechanism itself, the dial is special cast with lovely corner spandrels and a center disk with an astrological blue moon phase as well as brass weights and a decorative pendulum. It is cable-driven with a triple chime Kieninger movement, and also has an automatic nighttime silent option. The clock is in working condition, and keys are provided for both it and the locking door. Original documentation is also provided.
