Please enjoy the estate of Robert B. Breeding, M.D., who practiced as a “Country Doctor” for more than fifty years in Monticello, Kentucky. The contents of this estate span over fifty years, from the time he and his wife, Jean Stokes, licensed their house as a hospital to deliver babies, through the mid-1970s when he and his then-wife, Lytha Bridgeman, became interested in antiques. Items were collected from Kentucky and Tennessee. Dr. Breeding admired both fine furniture and accessories. On a historical note, the estate is on the site of the Charlie Burton home; Burton operated the last Concord Stage Coach, which is currently located in the Wells Fargo Museum in California.
