Murphy Cedar Chest

Item Details

A mid-century cedar chest stamped ‘Murphy 18.’ This chest has a hinged lid and stands on tapered legs with metal capped feet. The is some carving on the front and the edges have a raised wood edge. This piece may have been manufactured by the original Murphy Company, known for the invention of ‘Murphy beds.’ See provided link for more information.
