Sally Rosenbaum is an American artist based in Napa, California, and strives to capture atmospheric temperature and a balance of light and shadow in figural and landscape paintings. She was born in 1949 and studied fine art at UC Berkeley, with graduate work in fine art and education, and has been painting full-time since 1985. She has studied with noted California artists Elmer Bischoff, David Simpson, and Erle Loran. Rosenbaum’s work is shown in galleries throughout the United States, and her work has been reproduced by Landmark Calendars, Papyrus, American Greetings, and Avon, with paintings licensed currently with Pottery Barn, Ethan Allan, and on sets of motion pictures.
