Nikki G. Orlemann is a Cincinnati, Ohio artist known for Abstract Expressionism and color field painting. Her works are created using the Brayer style painting technique where a brayer transfers oil and acrylic paints smoothly onto paper and canvas creating beautiful hues with unique kinetic movement.
Orlemann studied at the prestigious DAAP program at the University of Cincinnati and later worked from her studio in Pendleton, Ohio from 1996-2003. She exhibited her work for many years at the Art Bank Gallery Cooperative, (now known as Artist Cooperatives in Cincinnati). Her artwork has also been highlighted at The Hyde Park Art Show and other local outdoor exhibits. She was a past president of Women’s Art Club of Cincinnati and Women’s City club of Cincinnati and is currently a member of CROW (Citizens for the Rights of the Ohio River Watershed).
