Two-Tier Georgian Style Tea Table

Item Details

A two tier Georgian style tea table in mahogany, mid-20th century. The table is supported by four splayed legs, terminating in elongated claw and ball feet. The curved table edges, sometimes described as ‘pie crust,’ are ornately carved with a continual pattern of scrolls, rocaille and lattice, with piercings. The pattern is repeated on the turned support and on the legs.

Condition

The finish has some wear and nicks due to age and usage. The intricate carvings need to be cleaned.
