Everything But The House is honored to present items from the estate of the late Christine Alma Prows. Mrs. Prows spent her entire adult life with a strong appreciation of art in every form. She was an avid collector, dealer, and artist. Her special talents revolved around restoration with an enormous interest and passion for wood. She operated as a successful business woman from several locations throughout her career. This auction honors her success and gives you the opportunity to invest in a very special and unique life collection.
This sale includes Rococo style furniture, Victorian items, and Roseville and Van Briggle pottery. There are wonderful items of the Native American culture which includes pottery, blankets, and baskets. There is a large collection of Nippon dishes and vases, sculptures, Fenton and Imperial Glassware, and epherema. There is a large painting on cloth from the RKO Albee Theatre in Cincinnati (this theatre was demolished in 1977). There are items from the Frank Tea & Spice Estate and The Work Soap Company. This collection is so large that we are offering the items for sale in two separate auctions. This is the first of two sales to be conducted.
