Victorian Curule Chair

Item Details

A lovely late Victorian curule chair with a formed back which resembles a shield. The crown of the chair has center carved design and curves downward and up to pointed corners. The high arms are supported by three scoop style rails on each side with the center rail and connects the straight arms to the back. The legs are slightly splayed with metal casters.

Condition

The chair itself is in good condition with little wear for the age although there are several minor nicks and scratches. The chair will need new upholstery.
