EBTH respectfully presents Peter Smith’s curated collection of fine art, antiques, and all things interesting and rare. With nearly four decades immersed in the auction and antique trade as both a seasoned auctioneer and certified appraiser, Peter’s wealth of expertise is unquestionable. For many years, Peter owned the Sandwich Antiques Center in Cape Cod, consistently considered and rated “Best of the Cape”, as well as the Plymouth Exchange Gallery in Plymouth, MA. Most recently, Peter’s finds have been stored in a Georgian style home built in 1780 for a ship building family in Kingston, MA. Many will also remember Peter from his number one rated Saturday morning program “The Antiques Airshow” on WATD radio.
Peter spent his career in the industry helping others bring their items to market while turning his passion into his vocation. As Peter eases into retirement, he’s decided to allow EBTH to return the favor. While enjoying the sale, Peter’s passion for antique fishing equipment will become evident as well as his attraction to nautical decor, American antiques, fine art, folk art, and a wide array of unique decor.
