This diverse collection demonstrates a couple that where life long explores with many different careers and interests. Life experiences ranged from stock car driver and Indy 500 car mechanic to financier. While some life collections are narrow and focused, others are the result of wearing wider blinders. This sale is broad and varied reflecting momentary whims, experiences and places.
An early racing career included being part of a Daytona 500 team when it was still on the beach. Then, on to technical skills behind the pit wall. Both were friends with lots of 50’s, 60’s and 70’s open wheel greats, like AJ Foyt. The next logical step was flair bartending long before that was trendy. Next on life’s path was owning bars and supper clubs before all of late nights and family pointed the couple in a new direction.
Finally, it was time to take advantage of an early degree in finance. As a financier, business offered seemingly endless travel opportunities for the couple. From the looks of this diverse collection, it appears to have been an endless collecting opportunity.
