A generous array of fine art, antiques and décor from a historic home in Petersburg, KY. The Terrill House was built in 1865 for George Terrill, his wife and their nine children. An exceptional example of Italianate architecture with a recessed double arcade entrance and two side porches. There was plenty of room in the grand home comprising eleven rooms, a center hall, servants quarters and a large kitchen with an open hearth and pantry. Carved in the attic is the name B. Hubble, presumably the builder.
Notable items in the sale include European School framed portraits, Limoge porcelain, vintage lighting, mahogany antiques, garden statuary, tableware, hearth accessories and architectural salvage.
