The Tri-County Mall located in the northern region of Cincinnati, Ohio has been acquired by Market Space Capital and is experiencing an exciting transformational project. The mall was built in the 1950’s as a single story retail strip center that was literally swallowed up by the construction of a larger enclosed regional mall in the 1990’s. At its peak the mall experienced great success and proved to be a magnet for other big box retailers and restaurants locating their stores in the surrounding area.
Over the last decade, many of the retailers left the mall sending the trajectory of the community in a rapidly declining spiral.
The Market Space Capital has a new vision. As part of its transformation, the Developers are proud to have a significant focus on sustainability evidenced by the adaptive re-use of over 2.4 million square feet of steel and concrete in the mall structure, rather than sending this potential debris to Ohio’s landfills. This sustainability effort continues as the Developers are seeking efficient uses to enhance the air and water quality for the region, as well as the desire to repurpose retail fixtures left behind from previous tenants.
Everything but the House proudly partners with Market Space Capital and supports this endeavor by presenting this sale “Everything but the Mall”.
