Jim Janisch is described as being “larger than life”, dedicated to his family, a world traveler and an esteemed Peanuts collector. His love of the adorable Peanuts gang began early in grade school, no doubt inspired by a first grade teacher and the book “Happiness is a Warm Puppy”. Over the years, his collection grew to include over 1,500 pieces with discoveries from his travels all over the world. Attending “Beaglefest” in 1993, a Snoopy extravaganza held in Santa Rosa, CA, was certainly a memorable event for Jim as he won a punchline contest and the opportunity to meet Mr. Schulz (AKA “Sparky”) in person.

You’ll find collectibles from the Danbury Mint, Hallmark ornaments, serigraphs, music boxes from Anri and Schmid, Japanese ceramics, snow globes and artist signed Westland Snoopy collectibles to name just a few examples. One of Charles Schulz’s most loved quotes might be appropriate here; “Try not to have a good time … this was supposed to be educational”.
