Our collector has been a long-time traveler, resident abroad, and educator for over 40 years in the Cincinnati region. Through her travels, she was able to bring art and culturally significant pieces to her students to show them a different, but equally rewarding, way of life. During our time with the seller, she spoke highly of the years she spent living in India and traveling throughout Southeast Asia. As an educator, her mission was to share the world with students who may never have the opportunity to travel. In light of the travel moratoriums and restrictions countries imposed in response to reducing the spread of COVID-19, our seller is hopeful that her personal collection inspires bidders to plan to meet the people and cultures who produced the art and goods within this sale.
