EBTH is delighted to present the estate of Karen Marie Moning, #1 NYT-bestselling author of the Highlander series and the Fever series, which have nearly 11 million copies in print and have been translated into 24 languages.
Karen’s collection features an outstanding mix ranging from contemporary high-end furniture to antique-inspired relics – notably her two carved ivory-tone bookcases. Her items were proudly showcased at her home, endearingly named Silverlake, which boasted a gorgeous 20 foot diameter stained glass dome. This 120 year old focal point was transplanted from a church in Piqua, Ohio and serves as a pinnacle to her assortment of eclectic goods.
Each item in this sale tells a story, reminiscent of Karen’s career in being an author. A pair of cream leather Chesterfields served as inspiration for the décor in her books, and her collection of Linkin Park memorabilia holds tales from backstage at small venue fundraisers with the band. Karen hopes that by passing on these items to their next home, their story can be continued for years to come.
