The designer states, “As I have practiced with my design clients over the past 40 years, I trust my eye and buy what catches my attention. A great provenance or back story is always a plus but I have never been about perfection. I don’t mind seeing age or wear on a piece. To me, that means the piece has seen history.”
“There is no particular style you can attribute to the collection other than saying it’s not traditional American. It’s worldly: European, Continental, Asian, and African. It’s a clever collection plucked from around the world, across the centuries which hopefully evokes a love of the past, and appreciation of a time when creativity was expressed with one’s hands, not machines.”
