Avid autograph seeker and sports memorabilia collector, Alan D. Rosenberg, is well known as a sports super fan. This is the first time the vast Rosenberg collection of meticulously preserved memorabilia has been offered for sale.
Mr. Rosenberg caught interest from his father and their cousin Fred, who had to rent a warehouse to store all of their treasures. One night in 1955 Alan’s father brought home a restaurant menu signed by Joe DiMaggio, his collection was born and his hunt for autographs and memorabilia began immediately. Over the years, Mr. Rosenberg has built a major collection of legendary autographs including basketball icons like Bill Russell, Wilt Chamberlain, Walt Frazier, Oscar Robertson, Bob Knight and baseball legends like Mickey Mantle, Ted Williams and Willie Mays.
