EBTH is pleased to present the extraordinary personal property sale of Peter Laughlin, internationally respected antique dealer and historian. This sale offers important antique furniture from Europe and America, art, rugs, oriental treasures and architectural relics including many rare pieces. Mr. Laughlin was well known and admired for his extensive knowledge and scholarly approach of antiques, antiquities, architecture and art. As manager of Boone Antiques beginning in 1977 and later as owner of the Saturday – Sunday Market downtown Lexington, Peter had an ardent following of clients, designers, and friends from all four corners of the world. In 2012 Peter Laughlin won the prestigious Barbara Hulette Award from the Bluegrass Trust for Historic Preservation for legendary efforts in restoring and preserving the Short Street and Western Suburb historic districts located in the heart of Lexington.
