Originally owned by the prominent Varnum family, the house’s storied history includes once having been a stop on the underground railroad and also home to a practicing veterinarian out of the 18th century barn. The collections held within its walls, now available to bid on and own for yourself, include impressive Rookwood Pottery examples, a pull-down map of the United States published in 1834, early furniture, ephemeral gems such as an occupational blacksmith daguerreotype, leather-bound antique books, and much more.
