The Baroness was born on February 19th, 1922 in Brussels, Belgium, the daughter of Count Juan t’Kint de Roodenbeke and Countess Solange de Beauffort, raised in Ooidonk castle, living a life of privilege, grace and eloquence. The Baroness married her second husband, an American citizen, in 2000 and relocated to Loveland, Ohio. The collection, which encompasses exceptional fine jewelry, antique and contemporary furniture, antique Chinese porcelains, sterling silver and items of vertu, contains items once held in the ancestral home of Ooidonk Castle as well as items accumulated throughout her travels. Baroness Myriam de Roodenbeke Carroll, noted by many as the epitome of class and sophistication, had a discerning eye for finery, a deep rooted connection to the traditions of Belgium, but also and most importantly, the enduring gift of joy, and an appreciation of life, which shine though in her diverse collection.
