Thomas Reuter was an accomplished pianist and served in the U. S. Army with the 101st Airborne Unit. He performed numerous concerts including Cincinnati Blues Festival, Fitton Center for Creative Arts and for First Lady Barbara Bush in 1990. This sale features a Steinway Concert Grand Piano. This piano of concert quality served at Music Hall for performing pianist. After 5 years of service pianos are rotated out which is how Mr. Reuter, through Steinway & Sons was able to realize his dream of owning an exquisite Steinway Concert Grand Piano. It bears the Concert & Artist service inventory number CD-321. Internationally acclaimed artists have played this instrument including Spanish pianist Alicia de Larrocha. Other highlights of this sale include several items of Cincinnati Reds memorabilia such as the 1939 National League Champions banner, a unique John Ruthven print numbered 57/250 of “The Guardian” and much more.
