The estate belongs to John Clayton Caris and his wife, the late Fan Benno Caris. Fan, who passed at the age of 98, was a beautiful woman both inside and out with a noteworthy record of achievements. She was a world class athlete setting five world records and seven USA records in the event of race walking. To top that off she was selected to carry the Olympic Torch for her athletic achievement in the 2002 Olympic Torch Relay. Fan’s other achievements include being a famous psychic, a published poet, and a forceful politician. She also earned the title of Ms. Senior Texas America in 2005. This sale is a large collection of the family’s most beautiful artwork, collectibles and memorabilia. Many items are from the family’s extensive travel through Europe and Central and South America.
