EBTH is pleased to present the estate of the late Buzz Bowman, collector extraordinaire. Buzz was known throughout the country for his acumen and sharp eye attuned to the discovery of antiques and collectibles, and his amassed finds give a wonderful overview of true Americana. Buzz and his family traversed America in search of treasures…Buzz’s sense of adventure once took him to the backwoods of Georgia near the Chattooga River, where he not only found one of his beloved vintage cylindrical glass gas pumps, but dismantled it and brought it back to Addyston in the trunk of his Chrysler. Buzz was an expert on petroliana and vintage toys, but his collections were wide-ranged and varied. Enjoy perusing the offerings of this exciting sale featuring many rare and hard-to-find advertising pieces such as a Red Top Beer metal sign, 1960’s KFC Colonel Sanders figural weathervane advertising sign and Pepsi policeman crossing guard sign, among other fun treasures.
