First Edition of "Atlas Shrugged" by Ayn Rand

A first printing of Ayn Rand’s ‘Atlas Shrugged’, originally sold by John G. Kidd and Sons bookseller. The binding is still a vivid turquoise but has a stain on the front. The pages are in good condition. ‘Atlas Shrugged’ was first published in 1957 in the United States. Rand’s fourth and last novel, it was also her longest, and the one she considered to be her magnum opus in the realm of fiction. ‘My philosophy, in essence, is the concept of man as a heroic being, with his own happiness as the moral purpose of his life, with productive achievement as his noblest activity, and reason as his only absolute.’ (from the Appendix)

Condition

The book had a stain on the cover that appears to be from a glass. The pages are in good condition.
