Antique Apple Cider/Wine Press

Item Details

An antique apple cider/wine press with original metal Sears and Roebuck tag. The press was used by the estate to personally press grapes for homemade wine. The press has a tapered wooden hopper with grinder mechanism to the center, a red-stenciled press frame with metal screw down press. A walnut-staved two-part container comes with a heavy wooden lid and base, with framework. A long-handled masher comes with the press.

Condition

some restoration will be needed, notably to base parts
