A pair of Victorian wide brim hats with feather accents with a F. C. Pfrenger of Brooklyn, N.Y. black straw with black marabou feathers, one feather arranged in an upright position, the other curving around the hat’s crown, marked to the interior, and an unmarked black lace hat with deep crown accented with black velvet and black satin banding and with a bird feature composed of a Greater bird-of-paradise in a partial taxidermy state with head, off-white plumage and brown tail feather. Included with the two hats is a taxidermy Greater bird-of-paradise shown in a reclined position and two Victorian crowned pigeon feather crests with attached skulls.
