1920 Ford Model T Touring Car and Trailer

A 1920 Ford Model T touring car on trailer featuring a steel frame and body to Henry Ford’s iconic assembly line automobile. This vehicle, lovingly dubbed the ‘Tin Lizzy, ’Leaping Lena’ and ‘Flivver’ was produced between 1908 and 1927 and this particular vehicle has a green canvas accordion folding convertible top on metal frame, padded reupholstered leather bench front and rear seats, foldable windshield with wiper, running boards and fenders and oak spoked wheels in a medium dark finish. This particular Model T’s engine was last cranked in 2016 and has a 177 cu in 2.90L inline 4-cylinder engine and single side draft carburetor under the cowling. The vehicle is rear wheel drive with two forward gears and reverse and is controlled with a planetary gear drive transmission with three foot pedals and lever to the left-hand side of the steering column with the braking tied to the transmission. The suspension on this car is comprised of transversely mounted leaf springs and the car rides on 28′ × 3′ pneumatic ‘clincher’ inflatable tires. The vehicle has classic large glass lensed headlights, brass accents to the radiator, carriage lights at the windshield and brass hubcaps that read ‘Ford Made in USA’. The Model T comes on an all steel trailer by ‘Carry-On’ Traliers and is included in the lot as a package deal.

Lastly, the winning bidder is advised to check with their DMV / BMV to ensure that all necessary paperwork, tags, title transfer, et cetera are complete before the motor vehicle is removed from the premises.
