French Faience Pottery Pitchers with Quimper
Item Details
A pair of vintage French faience pottery pitchers. Both have white backgrounds with the larger having a colorful floral basket motif to the spout side with overall blue floral dot patterning and russet scalloped edges. The marked Quimper pitcher features a folkloric motif with figures and foliate in shades of cobalt blue, red, olive and yellow with cobalt blue banding. The larger pitcher is marked Fait Main Rouen OC to the verso, while the smaller is marked Quimper France with additional marks.
